The Pride Bands Alliance Pillars of Pride recognizes extraordinary accomplishments, services, or contributions by those actively supporting Pride Bands Alliance. This may include work with member and partner organizations, the community band movement, and the LGBTQ+ community which has made an impact on the larger Pride Bands Alliance community. Pride Bands Alliance Pillars of Pride recognize outstanding service or contributions to the growth and development of Pride Bands Alliance by one of its members.

A nominated member can be someone still active, or previously active, within Pride Bands Alliance or someone being honored posthumously. Current Pride Bands Alliance board members and previous Pillars of Pride recipients are not eligible to be nominated.

Member bands, and individuals within member bands, or affiliate members may nominate a candidate by submitting Pillars of Pride nomination form, or submitting the nominee’s name to the Pride Bands Alliance Pillars of Pride Committee with supporting documents. The Pride Bands Alliance Pillars of Pride Committee will compile all of the submissions, review, and select the recipients of the Pride Bands Alliance Pillars of Pride.
