Vancouver: “Together for the Holidays” or New York: “What We’re Made of”

Today, we’re presenting you with two continent-spanning opportunities to see one of our member bands on the first of December.

First, there’s the Rainbow Concert Band of Vancouver presenting their “Together for the Holidays” program along with Ms. Whoopsie Daisy in her 5th consecutive performance as special guest MC and performer.

This concert is sure to be just the right amount of sugar and spice and everything nice for your holiday season. Whether you are together with the ones you love during the holidays, or apart, they’ve got songs to warm your heart! There is a lovely duet for Baby It’s Cold Outside, there’s a narrated version of A Visit from St. Nicholas, and they’ve even got a surprise soloist for I Put Spell on You!

Date: Saturday, December 1st, 2018
Time: 7:30pm, doors at 7:00pm.
Location: Vancouver Community College Auditorium (Room 2010), 1155 E Broadway, Vancouver, BC V5T 4V5, Canada

Secondly, for their second concert in their “Queer We Are!” season, New York’s QUO: Queer Urban Orchestra will highlight each section of the orchestra, and then they will come back as a complete ensemble in the end. This concert shows what they can accomplish individually and together.

PLEASE NOTE DIFFERENT LOCATION: They will be in the German Lutheran Church of St. Paul (315 W 22nd Street) for this concert, not their usual venue at Holy Apostles.
