Enjoy A Musical Feast at three o’clock Sunday afternoon in the Caplan Recital Hall
The Philadelphia Freedom Band cordially invites you to a concert in celebration of their Tenth Anniversary!
Nothing nourishes the soul quite like sharing a delicious and lovingly prepared meal with friends. It is customary to choose a special restaurant or favorite food to honor milestones in our lives, and that’s precisely what PFB has decided to do this year, with one caveat: every course of the meal we’re serving is meant to be consumed aurally.
On December 9th, at 3 o’clock in the afternoon, we will all enjoy a musical feast fit for royalty. Join us as we toast to the genius of Bernstein, nibble and nosh to the sound of Saint-Saëns, stretch our belts to the beefiest of Copland’s works, and cleanse the palate with some Schumann. You’ll want to save room for dessert, though—we have a few sweet treats prepared as well!
We strongly recommend purchasing tickets in advance, as our last performance at Caplan Hall was Standing Room Only. VIPs will receive a special gift and preferred seating with their ticket. We’ll have lots of tempting raffle items during intermission (including two chances to win 25,000 airline miles!), and refreshments to follow the concert.
