Society is grappling with a multitude of multi-faceted, deeply personal and sensitive subjects, many with no clear or simple solution. As we struggle for the answers, so many people are hurting or mistreated. People are dying because of how they look, who they love, how they identify, or where they are from.
The Lakeside Pride Jazz Orchestra aims to bring harmony to a world full of contradictions, with a powerful message that we will overcome. We proudly present an evening of inspirational musical reflections on timely topics our nation is struggling with today, performing music by Sia, Pink, Sam Cooke, Buffalo Springfield, Thad Jones and others.
Together we join in leading the sound of progress, ensuring a change is gonna come!
