Making History at the Front of the Line
We are honored and thrilled to share that the Pride Bands Alliance has been invited to perform in the 2027 Rose Parade!
For the first time ever, an out, loud, and proud LGBTQIA+ organization will lead this iconic global event. When our 300+ member unit steps onto the parade route, we will represent over 3,700 musicians from 42 organizations across the globe—and generations of LGBTQIA+ artists who longed to be seen, heard, and celebrated.
Help Us Lead with Pride
This is the biggest opportunity in our history, and we need your help to make this moment unforgettable. While our dedicated musicians are personally funding their own travel, we must raise an additional $300,000 to cover essential logistics and custom-designed uniforms that will ensure our global debut is unified, professional, and unmistakably us.
When our band marches into millions of living rooms around the world, our pride will speak before we ever play a note. Will you stand at the front with us?

About Pride Bands Alliance
Pride Bands Alliance is a membership organization of LGBTQ+ community concert and marching bands from cities around the world. We were founded in 1982 as Lesbian and Gay Bands of America when seven independent bands met formally in Chicago.
Over the past 40+ years, Pride Bands Alliance has grown to include member organizations in the United States, Canada, Australia, and England.
Pride Bands Alliance remains dedicated to its original goals of promoting:
- Music, Visibility, and Pride (MVP) through performance and community representation
- A network of LGBTQ+ community bands at all stages of development
- Music as a medium of communication among people
- Improving artistic and organizational quality across member bands
- Stimulating public interest in the unique art form of community band music
Pride Bands Alliance is incorporated as a non-profit corporation in Washington, D.C. and 501(c)(3) Tax Exempt Status by the IRS (EIN 52-1394807). All donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
