The Triangle Pride Band is an LGBTQ+ and ally community band program in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area of North Carolina, with weekly rehearsals in Raleigh. We welcome all interested adults (18+), regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, age, or ability, to join us in uplifting our community through music!

 

The Triangle Pride Band formed as an organization in 2016, following in the footsteps of previous LGBTQ+ music organizations in the Research Triangle area. The organization initially consisted of one ensemble made up of a handful of musicians, which has since grown into the Triangle Pride Symphonic Band, the largest group within our organization, composed of nearly 150 musicians. The Triangle Pride Band now houses four core ensembles: the Symphonic Band, the Jazz Band, the Marching Band, and the Chorus, as well as multiple small ensembles.
